12-66%
BBA-63%
MBA(HR) - 60
Ielts-6(l-6.5 w-6 s-5.5 r-5.5)
have an academic gap after 12
I got admission in Macewan University - Alberta
Is there any chance for rejection?
Please response ASAP because I read some threads and really got worried about my visa..!

Hello,

Based on your profile i think you should consider retaking the IELTS as your bands are quite low (you need atleast 6-6.5 in each band and an overall band of 6.5 or more)
Work hard on your SOP .

I’m sorry to say this but as far i know macewan university’s
language ability condition is of overall 6.5 bands and score should be 6 or above in every module

I might be wrong but the counselor said this when i was going to apply. Maybe it recently got changed or maybe it never happened like this.

U r wrong macewan uni eligibilty is 6 not less than 5.5

It's not about what the university requires - it's what CIC wants to see to approve your study permit. These are two separate things. The university may be willing to accept lower IELTS score - but CIC may not be.

For a bachelor level university program - CIC wants all four IELTS scores to be at least 6 (i.e. 5.5. is too low).

For a masters level university program - CIC wants all four IELTS score to be at least 6.5 (i.e. 6 is too low).

Nope but the preference was given to it. Instead of macewan i chose norquest

The thing is- i am applying after my high school. That is why it maybe 6.5 overall for those who just passed grade 12th. Rest I don’t know

Well my frnd got his visa for sept intake after bachelor for same uni he have 6 bands n 5.5 in two modules
He is my classmate
