PLEASE HELP

Im a foreign worker here in Canada. My permit was expired few months ago but my employer is on the process of renewing it. My LMIA was approved but we havent get it yet. The thing is I have to travel domestic by next month. The question is, is it safe to travel from Alberta to Vancouver without work permit as long as my LMIA is on process and its just domestic travel. Please help cause im kinda scared. I woulf highly appreciate your help. Thank you

You can travel domestically as long as you have valid ID (e.g. your foreign passport). It doesn't matter what the status of your LMIA is.

Note that if your work permit expired a few months ago you'll need to apply to restore your status within 90 days of your work permit ending.
