Also on the forum it asks about the Commissioner of Oaths? We didn't go to anyone to get our common-law relationship recognized? Should I do so because its on the permanent residency forums? Our common-law relationship doesn't go into effect till Sept. 6th and I have to leave on that day back to America.

I'm sure that's covered in the application guide. There are certain things that have to be done for common-law applications

We didn't get our common-law relationship notarized. We just sent other proofs like rental agreement, mortgage approval, condo contract, same address on mail, statutory declarations of friends/family, pictures... We changed our marital status with Canada Revenue a few days later but didn't add this paper in our application. Make sure that you really lived together for 365 consecutive days otherwise you are not common-law.

Thanks apple. We been living together since Sept. 6th 2012 to as my visitor record will state Sept 6th 2013. XD I just have to leave on that day is all back. If they have any problems with that we have the couple months before that were we hoped countries together. XD! Other than that I think we should be okay. I think I can send the same address in the mail and he has yet to change the CRA sense we haven't gone into common law yet.

So we don't have to go to the commissioner of oaths and get it offical even though its in the permanent residency forums? Its in the Statutory Declaration document. If we don't get it signed do we not send this paper with the application when I mail it?

Some decide to get it signed and some don't. Usually having a good quality of proof you guys have combined affairs should be enough. We went and got ours signed at one at a registry. It's entirely up to you :)
