Please help with TRV application

Hello,

She does work. However; she does not have a workers permit yet.

A little background:
She is a citizen of Romania. Early 20s, lived with her father and siblings. She moved to Malta this past August to live with her aunt and cousins. She got a job working retail and is waiting for a work permit.

I have visited her twice before and I'm going again this March.

Hmmmm. This would be a bit of a problem. If you're visiting her in March anyway, maybe waiting a while longer till she gets her roots established where she is would help. She needs to show financial capability to do the trip and she can do that once she's legally able to open a bank account in her name where she is now. And the job should be stable enough so that it is something she wouldn't want to leave behind.

Thanks so much for your help job_seeker! This is very near and dear to my heart.
She has a bank account open in her name and receives payments from work as a temporary worker. She's waiting for her workers permit and i can talk to her employer about a letter and leave of absence (he's my neighbour).


I'm starting to go over a checklist.

- proof of property
+ certificate of employment (worker permit pending)
+ letter from employer
+ family ties (aunt, cousins)
+ bank account
+ financial capability to do the trip (give it a couple of months)
+ letter of invitation from myself (good idea?)


Should we wait until September for a Common-law Union if that helps at all?
