- Greet people coming into the resource area and orient clients of the resources and equipment available to them. Answer questions and provide accurate information regarding the WorkBC Employment Services.
- Assess clients' eligibility according to WorkBC policy.
- Assist clients in setting up BCeID accounts and completing WorkBC Services online application.
- schedule clients with Employment Counselors through online portal.
- Meet with new and return clients to administer urgent transportation supports and other job starts supports. Maintain records as needed on ICM.
- Register clients for STOC training and upload required documents in ICM
- Maintain all required forms / assisting clients to complete initial intake forms.
- Gather employment and employer related resources for use in the resource area. Maintain and organize the resource area library ensuring adequate stock of resource materials.
- Manage and maintain website content.
- Provide job search assistance to clients (job applications, email set up, resume/cover letter)
- Assist with 4, 24 and 52 week employment follow-up.
