Am going to come to Canada next week and I have a question about entering the country with about 380 grams of Gold Bars - 2 pieces 100 grams and some ounces . I want to know how much the charges " taxes" need to pay?? If there is charges - just to let you know iam A canadian citizen ? .

No charges. and if the value plus any other funds is less than $10K doesn't have to be delcared

Note: 380 grams of sterling gold is itself worth well over 10k CDN

Definitely declare. And as this is equivalent to currency, you may need to explain source.

But as far as I understand, there would be no tariff or duty.

Will i have 2 100 grams pamp bars and 3 ounces of bars too - so that cost 16000 canadian dollars - my friend called custom for me and thy said for 10-000 dollars gold i need to pay 2000 dollars - i was what s that - so i guess i will sale mines here abd just buy the bars in Canada ? .
