Please Help!! Urgent!!No Permanent Address Yet

Hello, I'd be arriving Canada as a student to resume at uwinnipeg soon but I'm worried about the declaration form I'd be given..I have no permanent address yet, even on my consent form...I do not know what address to fill in. But I would be stopping over at Toronto to stay with some family friends..(Can I put their address?)before moving to winnipeg to stay at an hotel then find accomodation

What address do you all feel I should write? Or tell the IO when I reach toronto airport??

You mean the address on the declaration form on the plane?. Put you friends address as that's where you will be going first.

Oh thanks...what if I am asked where I would be staying when I arrive Winnipeg?
Is it fine to mention an hotel till I find the appropriate accomodation?
