please help Sent application

We sent in our application 5-6 weeks ago.
How and where do we check if they are reviewing it or at least get our client ID?

I mean we spent 1.5month putting it together. and waited another 1 month.
we got nothing back from the cic.

can anyone help ? how can I inquire about if our application is under review and such?

This is normal. It takes 6-10 weeks to receive the first notification from CIC. Nothing you can do but wait. Your processing times are normal so far.

was it spousal or Dep Child ?
10 weeks is the average time for AOR.

wow 10 weeks...

It can take up to 8 weeks to receive AOR1, don’t worry. You still have a bit of time to wait. Get used to waiting for long periods of time and hearing nothing, unfortunately that is how this process goes for allot of people.
But don’t worry about not hearing anything yet, that’s completely normal, you should
Hear for them in the next few weeks with your AOR1.
