Helll Team,

Good Day !!!!!

I am Canadian PR and and doing Job with ( 30 K annual package ) {Landed in Canada on July 2016 }

My question am I elibile to call my parents for super Visa now ?

Or is there any rule of 3 years wait ?

Please help me to confirm, would be very thankful

Thanks so much in advance

There's no 3 year wait, however you are required to meet a certain income level to get the supervisa, which right now is $37,234 for a family of 3 (you + 2 parents). If you're married or have children, they will be added to the family size, thus increasing the income requirement even more. Also you're required to submit one of the following documents to prove your income:

-Most recent copy of the Notice of Assessment.
-Most recent copy of the T4 or T1
-Original letter from employer stating title, job description and salary
-Employment insurance pay stubs
-If self-employed, a letter from an accountant confirming annual income
-Proof of other sources of income (pension statement, investments, etc.)

It looks like you don't meet the requirement to get the supervisa for them this year.

I've just checked latest Thresholds , yeah I am agree I am not eligible this year,

But could you advise , below income are after exclusion of Income tax (I mean in hand salary ) , or Gross Salary or CTC ?

Low Income Cut-Off (LICO)
Size of Family Unit Minimum necessary income
1 person (your child or grandchild) $24,328
2 persons $30,286
3 persons $37,234
4 persons $45,206
5 persons $51,272
6 persons $57,826
7 persons $64,381
More than 7 persons, for each additional person, add $6,555

It's before tax and deductions, it will be your gross salary.

Mikeymuke ,

thanks for the clarifications

:)

Actually I was under impression that If I call my parents , then t would take my family size as 2 ( Father and Mother ) , but instead it would be 4 (me, spouse and parents )

Thanks thanks again

No problem.

There's also another way you can bring them over. If your spouse has enough income, she can apply for supervisa for your parents provided she is added as a co-signer. Then you two can combine your incomes to meet the LICO requirement.
