I was a F1 student in US and applied for H1B visa this year. However, I get the deny letter the beginning of this month. I was notified I am out of status immediately and need leave US within 60 days grace period. Now I have get a F2 I-20 from the University of my husband, and trying to get a Canada Visit Visa. I planned to go to US Embassy in Canada to get the F2 visa in US.
My concern is, can I apply for the visit visa in Canada if I am out of status in US now ( in grace period per my attorney.) ? Also, can I apply for F2 visa in US embassy in Canada?
