Please Help my mother applied 2 years and refused do Canadian embassy keep data

Hi, everybody my mother applied 2 years ago with my 2 sisters and brother and got refused they were coming to visit my uncle in canada but 1 year ago i came to Canada my husbend sponsored me and I became resident of Canada. Now my mothers wants to come and visit me in Canada cause I have medical condations and I am under medical investigastions she works and has her own property and she has bank statmetns and iam sending my bank statment and letter of invitation but now the question is when i fill up the application for visitor visa there's a questions say have you denied for vistor visa befor do i have to say yes or no can i say no do they have a record of her refusal before or no please help thank you.

They keep records for 10 years (officially active, I believe) and then archive them (but can still access them). At least this is what I've been told from sources. But they definitely do when it comes to a two-year period. Remember this tip: always declare the truth.
