Please help me!!

As a Peruvian citizen with valid residence in Austria, I applied on 19.08.22 for a transit visa for a stopover in Canada. On 14.10.22, I submitted my biometric data and until today I have not received any information/decisions or anything like that. What can I do!!!?!?
My flight is leaving soon in December and I applied with enough time in advance!!!
My god, it's a transit visa! My destination country is Peru and not Canada!
Please what can I do, what steps are forward, should I cancel my flight and search for another???

Unfortunately there's nothing you can do to speed up processing of the transit visa.

Your option are to wait and hope the transit visa is approved on time - or to change / cancel your flight.

You see. Some people get a transit visa via Canada, and once they get to Canada they claim asylum .
