Hello Friends ,
I have transferred CAD 10,100 from my father's account i.e sender's name is my father's name and benificiary name is written as my name . Now can i get my GIC in time for may intake or i have really done a blunder as some people in the forum confused me that you can't send money through your father's account ???

Exactly the same query of me also as I will be sending 10k $ from the Loan account owned by me and my father jointly..

bus as per the 6th page in the application guide

scotia bank will give u GIC no problem. They need money!

It really doesn't matter from whose account u paid your GIC......all what matters is whose name you have mentioned in the application form while opening the account.

so if u have mentioned your name in the application form then you will get the gic in any case by following their instructions.
