Please help I need urgent information

I got totvfs today to get my passport back. On opening it, I saw a small note from Canada embassy saying "important information regarding your application has been sent to the email address you provided on your application".
I did not get any decision from them. Can anybody help me clarifications?

It is a rejection unfortunately. Either the email will come later or open MyCIC account and check the status.
