Please help - Changes in marital status after CIO approval

Hi,

I am an applicant for the Federal Skilled Worker Program. I have already passed through the first stage and was requested to submit the complete application to the London visa office.

However, in my initial application to CIO I mentioned my common law partner, who was going to accompany me to Canada. Unfortunately, I broke up with my common law partner and we are not in any relationships anymore. That's why I should mention this fact in my complete application.

Could you please give me any advice regarding the following issues:

1) While sending my complete application, should I send the same forms (information), which I sent to CIO and reveal all the changes in a cover letter?

or

2) Should I submit new forms (with up to date information, not mentioning any information concerning my common law partner) and just to describe in my cover letter that my marital status was changed and now I continue my application alone?

1. No need to send anything to CIO.
2. All you require is to send completed application with your and spouse details, spouse visa fee CAD 550, other documents- like marriage certificate, documents of self and spouse sent to local visa office.

However, my question actually was: what kind of information (forms) I should send with my complete application? Whether I should send the same forms, I already submitted to CIO (mentioning my common law partner) or I should change those forms and make them up-to-date (not mentioning my common law partner).

Since we are not together anymore and she is not going to join me to Canada.

So what kind of information should I send?

Its better to send a covering letter explaining in detail ur split with ur partner and that she will not accompany you BUT also think wisely whether u have claimed any points thru her education to reach 67 points. If it is YES better patch up with her or ur dreams to reach Canada could be shattered.
