cooldoc80 said:thanks for the input , just a quick question , did the qatar police agreed to sign and stamp it in the box where it say so ?
also can you put an address of a friend in usa then he forwards it ?
thanks
cooldoc80 said:please let me know where did they stamp exactly ? is it in the same box that says (signature of person who took the fingerprints) as this box is really small for a stamp ?
cooldoc80 said:hi prash , do you have idea how to ask them by telephone , i couldnt find direct telephone line to ask about identity history ?
i will ask them about mailing to usa friends address , if this is possible i think you can also change your adress
niknike said:Friends, Can you please provide your inputs for obtaining India PCC from USA.
- do we really need to give our original passports? If yes, will they return the passport at same time.
- how the India PCC looks like..will it be a letter or does any entry goes in our passport too ?
- how soon we can re-collect our passports- do we have to collect in person or will consulate mail them back?
Please let me know if you think anything else is required. Thanks!
prash42 said:1. Yes, the Indian consulate stamps one of your passport pages saying PCC issued
2. Should be a one-pager on the Indian consulate's letterhead
3. Not sure, that probably varies depending on which consulate/embassy you go to, but it should be a few days at most
