Please help, can I search work in Canada from USA with W1 visa?

Recently got W1 visa along with my husband and he is the primary applicant. I applied as a dependent with him and we both got w1 visa stamped.
My Query is:

Can I start applying to companies in Canada for a job from USA?
Can I travel alone without my husband as he is planning to travel after few months(Since he is primary applicant, do we need to enter Canada together)?
