Do I have to write all my trips in "Personal history"?
I am asking about holidays I took when working. My every year vacations.
Can I list them only i TRAVEL Application or in Personal History as well?

Please Help me!!!!! I need to know asap. I want to send my application tomorrow.

Yes you have include all the vacations u did by crossing the border

Hi

You need to be honest in this section, if you travelled while working on vacation then the trips need to be listed as vacation, same as if they were for business. Listing them only as “travel” may lead to questions and the time out of the country subtracted from your 1 year work experience.

CIC allows for a reasonable level of paid vacation during the 1 year experience period.

The information goes into form IMM5562 – Supplementary Information – Your Travels.

Thx

Sorry I am still confused.
I am asking about last 10 years. I listed all trips in YOUR TRAVELS Form. My question is:
For example, when working (in my home country) in one company for 5 years, I was on vacation every year (2-3 weeks a year) do I have to list those vacation in BACKGROUND/DECLARATION Form, Question about "Your Personal History" as well or I have to just give a details of my work and trips only in TRAVEL FOrm?

PLEASE i NEED TO SEND MY APPLICATION TODAY AND i DON'T KNOW iF i HAVE TO EDIT MY FORM OR NOT.
SO MANY PEOPLE ON THIS FORUM AND NOBODY KNOWS WHAT TO DO?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

Frankly i dont think so you need mention about vacations.

I got PR last month, i didnt filled my vacations (I went back to India for vacations 4 times(2 weeks each time) in 2 years).

Also when u were in India ,just fill your job start date ,end date and city.

During your Indian job ,it may be possible you were going to your hometown from your work place so I dont think we need to cover that in that.

But again ,I am telling you based on my personal experience of PR process.

Hi

You were lucky, however you technically provided incorrect information. The instructions on the forms are clear. Choosing not to follow the rules is a personal choice, however advising others to do the same is a little unfair.

Good luck.

Hi,

I'm on the same question and really need you guys' help. I travelled outside of my country only when I got study visa to Canada and then went back home for a month for a visit. Do need to mention all this on the form? Please help. Thank you everyone.

Hi All,

I believe the instructions say that you have only to state the travel to countries
1.other than your country of residence (which for persons applying from within Canada is Canada) and
2.other than your country of citizenship (say for example India)

Hope this helps

Cheers
:)

Stop with the !!!!!!!! and CAPITALS.

I included all of my travel history as that is what they request. Not surprisingly, it does make sense to include the information on both forms where it is required (clearly it would look stupid if your history varied between two forms in the same application).

I'd spend a considerable amount of time travelling, so this section was a bit of a ball ache. The CIC had no problem with me writing things like 'Colombia (various cities/locations)' as opposed to listing each individual city).

I know when I applied, I still had to include time in Canada and my home country, but I don't believe you need to include that information anymore.

So does this mean in the "Personal History" Section, I have to list all travel/vacation which is repetitive compared to my Supplementary Travel Information? So as a student when I had summers and christmas breaks I went on vacation or went back to my home country. Do I have to list all of that?

Supplementary Travel:

List all trips you, and if applicable, your family members have taken outside your country of origin or of residence in the last ten years (or since your 18th birthday if this was less than ten years ago). Include all trips: tourism, business, training, etc. If you or your family member did not travel outside of your country during this period, check "did not travel".

So include everything but your home country and Canada.

Personal History IMM5669:

Include EVERYTHING. That means in Canada and your home country as well.
