Please explain the electrical trade

hi, I am new to the forum, but I would like to ask.
I am qualified as an Electrician - City and Guilds of London
and will I find work in Mississauga without having the Ontario electrical Certificate.
I will sit for this certificate when I arrive in Canada. but do companies hire guys like me
Any Replies will help ?

I don't know about Ontario but I know in AB, you can work as an electrician for up to 6 months before you have to get the test sorted.

I am going to go to Mississauga area cause my brother lives there.
Should move next year in July.
Do you know of any good contacts in Electrical Trade. I have 20 yrs experience in trade.
