Actually i have done intermediat in 1993 then i did training as a librarian and worked in a school .Now i m planning to study further in E.C.E . i want to take my hus along and leaving my kids here is that possible if yes then how much fund i need to show in my account . I heard that if i will apply with my hus and my kids both then yhe chances are less so its better to apply with my husband only . Kindly guide me thanks.

icecool , can't thank you enough for all that valuable 'first-hand' info.

I have applied for a bank loan which is supposed to be granted within 3-4 days (applied 1 month back in State bank of india). After this I plan to pay 50% of the fees and then file for the visa.

I have got offer from Centennial college for 2 years course.

The thing is that I don't come from an affluent family and thus i mean to study hard and regularly, and basically do what it takes to see this whole thing through till the PR. Yeah i know its a long road ahead, but anyways..

I am really looking forward to doing part time jobs in toronto to support me. I also have 2 of my friends coming along with me in the same college, so we plan to live in the same apartment.

One other friend of mine has got into Fangshawe and will be living in london. Your experience and opinion has been invaluable thus far and I am gaining inspiration from as many success stories as possible.

Please keep us posted with your views, since ur there :) . I could be asking some questions along the way :) . Right now am in a lot of tension.

Good luck to us all.

Thanks again.

hey man, i am living here in canada for one year now..But i am doing a 4 semester course, i do not understand how you can finish your course in 4 semesters..As a student here in Canada, i know semesters are very hard and its almost impossible in the field of business to complete your course in 4 semesters. Canadian diplomas generally have 4 semesters which is equal to 2 years and yes you are correct that if you complete a 2 year course which involves a study of 4 semesters, you can get a work permit for 3 years..But it is best for you to take your time in the course and study it for 4 semesters as a regular student, so you will get good grades and get a better job when you actually graduate...You really dont want to complicate things by completing your course in a rush..So its best to take your time, study all semesters, enjoy your time in Canada as a international student and after that get a work permit of 3 years..

Bye
