Hi,
I came to Canada last March, holding a working permit for 2 years in BC. I got transfer from Tokyo office to Vancouver office. Last June i have a baby in BC. My bf is American and we haven't married yet. I am Vietnamese nationality.
Basically I've been living in Canada for one year as temporary foreign worker. I've checked the requirement to see if i am qualify for the PR Visa as well as the points and i think i am qualified to apply for PR within this March.
So my questions are :
1. Where/How I can start the PR application?
2. Can I do it my own or it's better to go through the immigration lawyer office?
3. Any things related to my baby?

I appreciated all your thoughts or reply and also please dont hesitate to post your ideas about my case. Thank you in advance.

1. Follow the instructions at http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/apply-how.asp

2. You can do it on your own. Using a lawyer will cost you and will not guarantee you faster processing. In some cases bad consultants may even mess up your case by delays, filling out forms wrong etc.

3. No, your baby is a Canadian citizen and will not need PR.
