LANDED..........
Oct 7, 2012 :)
Hello Senior Members,

I landed in Canada on Oct 2012 and became permanent resident. I got Permanent resident card on Dec 2012. Now I am planning to meet my family outside of Canada and will stay there for 2 months (from Nov 2014 to Jan 2015).

My husband is Canadian citizenship and he has NICOP (Pakistan ID card) and I have PR card and my Pakistani passport will expired on August 2015. If I want to go outside country with my husband, does it will affect my PR status?

And also tell me, what important documents do my husband and I will bring?

Which documents show to Canada Airport and Pakistan airport?

Please kindly advice clearly.

Thanks.

Hi

No, it will not affect your PR status. You are free to leave Canada if you wish.

I have no idea what you mean by documents to show at the airports. You'll need your passports, PR card and whatever your husband needs to enter Pakistan.
