Hi All,

I am planning to migrate to Canada and have some set of queries:
  1. I understand it is appropriate to do the Express Entry profile; however, would like to know what role PNP plays if i opt and does it restrict me obtaining a job
  2. I plan to migrate to Ontario province - mainly looking at Ottawa / Toronto - would like to know what job roles are available there according to the market. I am a supply chain / logistics manager and my wife works in HR - which city will serve better
  3. If i buy a house with own funds instead of mortgage or rent - will i get additional benefits like preference in jobs or more. As i would invest in Canada's economy - so if there is any preferences given.
Thank you all for your help and advise in advance.

To #3, buying your own house doesn't give you any preference for employment. I cannot think of one country in the world where homeowners get preference for employment.

The only benefits that come for buying a house with cash (as opposed to on a mortgage) is that you don't need to worry about the bank trying to take it from you if you miss a few payments.

Thank you rish, as a immigrant I was only trying to inquire if there was any impact.

Many countries have investor immigration program, some are so easy to a point where the requirement is buy a house. Canada used to have investor class. It's basically cash for citizenship

Forget buying a house. Many Caribbean countries have straight up cash for passport programs. For just a $100,000 "donation" a family of 4 can become proud members of the Caribbean Community.
