Planning to fly Air China to Vancouver. What should I know?

Hi

We're planning to do a soft-landing for complete the PR requirements. The flight tickets from Delhi to Vancouver are relatively reasonable.

1. Wanted to know if there's anything we should be aware before booking this route? We hold Indian passports.

2. Do we require a transit visa for Beijing? This will be a one-stop flight. I heard the 24 hour visa free travel will apply. Is this on arrival?

I don’t know about the Chinese transit regulations, but you will have no issues landing in Canada. CBSA doesn’t care how you arrive at the Port of Entry.

For transit visa requirement in Beijing, better to ask the Airline you are travelling.
