Hello,

My question is can I write an appeal regarding to a work permit extension that has been denied due to - according to my knowledge and given information - a reason that is refering to a false statement.

Here is my case: I have been already working in Canada on a Charitable Work Permit when I decided to apply for extension. I filled my application via online and after three months I have got the following feedback:

"Camp councilors who have resided in a designated country or territory (see FW1, 13.2), that pursuant to section 29(2) it has been determinated that you have violated a condition imposed under regulation 30(1)(c)(i) as you have not completed medical examination."

I am a citizen of Hungary, and for now going through the manual - http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/manuals/fw/fw01-eng.pdf - and the designated country list - http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/medical/dcl.asp - it is shown in black and white that citizens of Hungary do not require to take and Immigration Medical Exam.

I am now someone whose application for work permit has been denied for no reason at all. I wonder if there is a way of making an appeal on this as I do not need such a false negative record in my file not now nor in the future.

I am thinking of writing a letter as a response to the feedback attaching all documents that would support my statement. Is there a specific way to do that or can I just write plain letter to the address where the feedback come from refering to my client number?

I am really looking forward to some advice on this!

Thanks in advance!
