Hello Mga kababayan,

Musta kayung lahat? Salamat naman sa gumawa na forum na Ito.. I am a nurse here in Belgium for almost 2 years now, but I want to transfer in canada because I heard that they offer better benefits for us nurses. Can somebody help me on how to become a nurse there? May shortage pa ba ng nurse diyan?

Makiki join na din po ako sa conversation dito!. PR visa din nakuha namin under FSW class... nag wo work ngayun dito sa UAE as Architect/Interior Designer pero ini expect ko na na di ko muna mauupuan ang profession ko talaga--- pero nakita ko naman sa internet na in demand naman dyan ang mga nasa construction industry- kaya baka may alam kayu dyan mga interior o architectural offices na pde natin ma applayan-- like Cad technician- o 3d visualizer?

lapit na kmi punta dyan sa Saskatoon, mga first week of August!-- excited na!! ;D gusto ko dyan eh..
pero medu kinakabahan din... kami lng kasi muna ng 7 year old daughter ko pupunta dyan.... -- marami naman daw yata dyan day care center kung sakali maka hanap na ako ng work?--

and regarding sa housing, -- kailangan pa ba ng reference dyan para makakuha ng bahay? --- kung sakali-- pde nu ba ako matulungan?
and--- papa book na din ako ticket by next week-- anu airline kaya the best - from manila na medu maka save naman sa pamasahe?-- mka mura na ba ako sa Delta Airlines?

gud day!just landed here in saskatchewan last may 24, dito kami ngayon sa yorkton. a friend introduced me to some filipinos here. Luckily one of them is looking for somone to rent his basement. basement here are nice parang bahay din sya kumpleto (itong amin is all inclusive water, electricity and wifi) and its not that pricey compared to other apartments. Yorkton is a nice place, madami ding mga nakapost na job hiring though we didnt try to apply yet kse inasikaso muna namin yung mga kailangan ayusin. By nextweek we will be starting to hunt for jobs. So wish us good luck and hope nakatulong tong info na ito kahit papano...til next tym. God bless you all!

How much po pala rent ng basement??

itong nakuha namin is 400 all in na yun. ok na di ba? walking distance lang mga stores. Walking distance lang din kami sa mcdo and dairy queen. We went to eat at mc donalds the other day, and then all of a sudden inaabutan na yung hubby ko ng aplication form kse yung kahera and the supervisor I think is Filipino also. Sabi 12.50 per hour, not bad, that is quite good enough for a starter though my husband didnt pursue it kse may gusto sya pasukan na iba.

hello mitz..thanks for sharing ur experiences dyan sa saskatoon...kung mabibigyan ng visa this year, we are planning to land in Calgary or Saskatoon...di pa talaga kami makadecide hanggang ngayon kung saan ba talaga kami hehehe...btw, enrolled ka na ba sa SIAST?yan ba yung counterpart ng SAIT in calgary? one more thing, boom ba ang construction dyan ngayon? nasa design and construction field kase kami ni hubby...many thanks in advance sa shared info,,take care )

@Doc Basti: doki, okey2 na din si Hubby sa saskatoon..sbi kasi ng agent namen yung govt pa daw ng saskatoon ang pumupunta sa mga bahay2 offering jobs to their people,,,dont know if this info is true pero at least its a positive feedback on Sask,hehehe....)

Good day everyone. My family and i have plans of applying as FSW this July. Noc 0631 ang aaplayan ko and i'm the principal applicant. Dahil sa forum na ito ay parang naeenganyo kami na sa SK kami magsettle pag sinuwerteng ma approve application namin. Just like a lot of people here, wala kaming relatives or kakilala sa SK. ask ko lang sna, we are a family of 4. My kids are 14 (boy) and 11(girl). Kung makakapag migrate kmi sa Canada, Okay lang ba na kumuha ng 2 bedroom apt para sa amin or kailangan 3 bedroom kasi d pareho gender mga anak ko? Kasi parang narinig ko dati na d pwede iisang room kapag ganoon. Ewan ko kung totoo. Please advice. Also, Nsg din 2nd course ko and salamat sa forum na ito balak ko ng mag apply sa srna upon filing ng application namin. I'm praying na sna nandun pa noc namin. TIA for all your replies.

hi mga kabayans dyan sa saskatchewan, kailan lang nagpasa ako ng papers nang sinp forms, may job offer ako at approval letter,sa tingin nyo sa dami ngayon nagaaply gano katagal o gano kabilis ako ma approve para sa working permit at pr? sana ma approve ako agad at makapag start na ng trabaho..sino sa inyo nasa saskatoon? duon kasi ang job offer ko...

sinp approvala letter,job offfer...ano ba ang unang ibibigay sa akin twp ba? tanong ko din kailangan ba ako mag provide ng proof of funds,and sa tingin nyo magkano kailangan dalhin na pera dyan sa saskatoon para magumpisa kasama ko kasi mag ina ko,anak ko 4 years old..
sensya na sa simpleng mga tanong, gusto ko lang smooth and relax and experience ko kung sakali makapunta na dyan...salamat
