hi so sorry now lang ako reply. nasa Pinas pa kase ako. Last aug ko pa na rcvd ung PR visa ko but March pa alis ko. Calgary ang point of entry ko but I decided to land in Saskatoon instead. Ito lang kase ang suggest ng Consul na ask ko ng help for settlement assistance, la kase akong family sa Canada. But according sa na research ko ok nman ang Stoon kaya nga lang I have to look for a place to stay. May Canadian Pastor na susundo sa akin but I will live with his family for 2 wiks while looking for a place to stay. Congrats sa smooth landing nyo and gudluck sa job search.

hi nurse_angel,

ask ko lang po... what consultant mo?? buti pa kayo may settlement assistance... yung samin kc wala... :( eh kami lng din ng husband ko m-migrate sa SK with no relatives and friends... any suggestions??

thanks po
shai

hi cp3isaIII,

I'm new here sa thread... just reading through... also interested with SK making my permanent home (sana!! :)) ask ko lang po... how many years work exp nyo?? sa tingin nyo... relevant ba yung work exp in their assessment whether mag SEC or not?? I'm a nurse din po... applying under FSW and as early as now is planning to have my dox assessed.... 2nd courser po kc ako (3 years lng yung nursing education) so i was thinking na baka automatic may SEC ako... :( isa kasi yan sa factor ko in choosing my destination sa canada...

super thanks!!

shai

Hi shai,
just like you, i'm a 2nd courser also. i dont have much experience, volunteer nurse lang at trainings ang nakalagay kong experience sa documents na pinadala ko for assessment. in my opinion, relevant yung work experience. if eventually magse SEC ka tulad ko, makakatulong sa iyo ng malaki sa pagsagot ng mga questions sa exam. maari din kasing ibang nursing area yung ipa exam for example kung marami kang experience sa med-surg, baka sa psychology area ka naman ipa-SEC. minsan depende rin yata sa evaluator e. i hope my answer helps. :)

Hello,

Does anybody knows how long take to get a nomination letter from Saskatchewan? I applied since September 2011 (Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP)) with a full time employment offer.
Thank you.

hi supervisa,

sa case ng hubby ko, took 6 months to receive the nomination letter from sinp...

Hi,

Flight namin to Edmonton on April 25, pero connecting flight from Vancouver to Edmonton is overnight mga 9 hours mag stay sa aiport, ok lang kaya un?

hi,

ok lng cguro if u don't have any kid/s with you kase maganda naman daw airport and marami mahabang upuan sabi ni hubby. pero if meron kang kasamang bata, not a good idea. surely they'll feel uncomfortable. china air kinuha mo? ganyan din kase ung sched n binigay sakin, walang magandang connection to final destination. mura sana, kaso meron ako kasamang mga bata. so i opted for cathay pacific, mas mahal ng konti pero same day ang connecting flight.

Take a look at this web page www.saskjobs.ca

Thanks a lot for a very useful link. Nabuhayan ako ng loob kasi andami palang survival job for accountants sa lugar nato. Thought its only for those in medical prof. maganda po etong forum nyo kasi mas nakakauha kami ng idea kung saan maganda mag umpisa apart from BC. waiting for MR napo kami and up to now dipa namin alam kung san kami pupunta for a start. priority po kasi namin ung madaling makakuha ng survival job habang nag uupdate ng qualification.

Good luck po sa atin lahat!
