HI All,

Just a question..
Pag po ba na-approve ng SOWP, kelangan talaga magpurchase ng roudtrip ticket?..
Kc ung friend ko na umalis nung May this year e hinarang sa immigration dito sa Pilipinas..
My ticket xa papunta.. and since hindi nya alam kelan xa balik dito sa Pinas e hindi xa bumili ng air fare pabalik..
napagastos xa tuloy at nagpurchase ng ticket sa airport, buti nalang at my isa pa kame friend na naghatid sa kanya na my pera at pinahiram xa kc kung hindi, hindi xa papayagan ng immigration umalis..

Meron ba sa inyong nakaranas na nito?

I didn't know there was SOWP for 'outland' applications but anyway. Immigration over there has no right to insist that. There are Filipina's here on only 'TWP' that did not have return ticket when they left MNL. To be safe perhaps be prepared to buy one like your friend, or be prepared to argue with them. I asked a Filipina, she said she would reply "Why do I need a return ticket already? I am going to work there and don't know when I am returning."
