Hi Chelseaviel,
I guess yong 11 months na yon ay hindi rin nasusunod, kasi some of the june applicants has ppr already..and even some of the May applicants has received their visa this month and it counts 7 months only!
Hope ganon din sa atin mabilis.

Hello everyone,

I'm the sponsor to my hubby's application. He haven't receive yet his PPR..
I think they change the processing time to 11 months because of some backlogs. In case like the applicant need to add his or her documents, medical and police clearance, and also incomplete application. And not only that but other countries applications also process in the Philippines... I know that some June applicants already receive their PPR, but we don't know too how long they will wait for their visas. It depends too on the immigration officer who has our application. Hopefully, by the end of this year, we'll hear some good news....

Hi Dex,

My husband had spoken with the Federal Deputy's office secretary yesterday in canada regarding the status of my application coz CEM is not replying to emails. They could actually check from their system the status of the application of the sponsored person and they could follow it up to CEM. The secretary said that CEM is handling a lot of applications which caused for the processing time to be extended to 11 months (based on the last update on Oct. 24, 2012) from the receipt of the application. However, the updates for the processing time is done every quarter so next year January it could be lower than 11 months. Hopefully the whole process will finish before April or May

wow thanks for the info =)...i'm hoping that the processing will be a lot faster on january. when i applied it was only 9 months processing..but now its 11 months...too long i want to be with my partner soon =(

chelsea, did your husband inquired regarding the validity of your medical exam which is fast approaching? Also, are you aware that, if they ever sent us our PPR, a same-day visa stamping would be offered by CEM?

yes my husband asked about it coz that's also our worry that my medical is going to expire soon. She said that it depends on the visa officer he/she may consider it or would require another medical.

Hello! kamusta? Im a June applicant as well.. june8,2012 ko sinubmit papers ng mag ama ko.. Nov26 nilasinubmit mga passports nila for visa stamping pro until now wala png balita..Kayo kamustanaapplications?
