Processing Time

I have sent all the required documents to the Embassy and have done the medical examination. I have received a letter from the Embassy saying the background check is underway. What does that mean? How much longer will I have to wait for my visa?


That means that we are verifying the information you have submitted in order to determine whether you are admissible to Canada. All applicants for permanent residence in Canada are subject to criminal and security checks. It is not possible to give you a timeframe as the time required for these checks can vary considerably. We will inform you if any further information or action is required on your part.

we called natiowide regarding the dates they sent our papers,i dont know why there was a delay with my husband since we didn't repeat any test..they just told us that separate nila nasesend and female and male medicals and since a lot of male applicants had their test on our exam date,medyo natagalan icompile kaya delayed daw sila..

oh ok... i'll do that din... do you still have their?? i cant reach them sa # na binigay skin via email... thanks po!

hello guys..share ko lang..sabi ng agent ko (CIC).. ang last PPR daw na nareceived nila for MI3 applicants was last Feb 2,2012..



hay..mukhang paisa paisa lang silang araw sa mi3 kada buwan?


sana meron ulit this MARCH 2012..at sana bumuhos na ng PPR kahit once a month lang sila magbigay pero sana madamihan na..kaka kaba naman

Hi! To all those under the 3152 NOC, do I really have to hire an immigration consultant to increase my chances of being approved? And re the job description, can you give me sample? I am staff nurse working in the NICU for 3 years now. My relatives in Canada told me that I can process papers without a consultant so I'm kinda planning to DIY this whole application. Your suggestions would be of great help!

NOC 3152 din ako...DIY lang din..just study the forms and how to fill it up,then prepare the documents, if you got doubts and questions ask it here..everyone will help..no need to go thru agencies..

Ask ko lang, nung isoli application mo before, may mga pencil markings?
May nag post kasi ng comment sa isang thread, when he received his returned packets, may pencil markings daw at may UCI number an naka sulat in pencil.
Ganun din yung sa yo?
Di ko alam kasi yung sa akin kasi sa lawyer address ko ibinalik packet ko.

hello guys,

bakit un iba 5-6 months ang inantay from their mr date to ppr?

while un iba naman sa mi3, minimum of 17 days lang nun nareceived un med nila sa ecas na date to their PPR? un iba naman minimum of 4 weeks lang from med received results date sa ecas to PPR?

hi sushicat, salamat ng marami sa reply! i've heard of some people na hindi licensed pero na-approve naman sila. siguro depends din sa experience right?. malaking factor din ba sa application ang work experience ng spouse?

Bereth, Indi ko sure ah...glimpse lang noong pina kita sa akin ng consultant ang binalik na packets ko...parang wala naman sulat pencil...mukhang malinis naman eh...not sure ah. Yung UCI na kuha namin yan noong nag karoon na kami ng PER. GOd bless..

Wander, it took for me 2 months for a job description only...careful yung consultant na assigned sa akin sa pag gawa ko ng job description..parati may correction. We could make it with out a consultant but we're both bc kaya nag consultant kami. IF you think kaya mo e prepare application mo do it... Marami dito walang consultant....they are very helpful. You make it sure na bago mo e send application mo, e check mo muna 100 times....date lang mag ka mali e balik yung docs mo. God bless

Example from nov 2006 to may 2008 staff nurse ako full time then part time private nurse from jan 2008 to nov 2010. ang sabi po ng agent ko ounted un work ko as magkahiwalay.. staff nurse 1 year and 6 mos, private nurse 2 years and 10 mos kaya binigyan nya ko max points sa work experience. accepted po b un? salamat

Thanks sa reply djoker. opo dineclare ko as 40 hours. So kahit pla nagoverlap un employment pd ko (Jan 2008 to may 2008) counted n un as magkahiwalay.. thanks..
