Hi fire, i have a friend 3152 rin, the VO sent her a letter in September asking her same things, SSS/GSIS, payslips, rotation plans for hospital duty, contracts etc to prove that she's a nurse...we wondered what made the officer doubt her qualifications as wala namang verification call na natanggap ang hospital anyways, nakapag submit na sya ng mga docs but til now walang nadagdag don sa In Process line nya...

sana maayos mo na papers mo, at sana kaming mga naghihintayn (PER/MR/PPR) ay makakatanggap na rin

uu full time CI aq.. nkalagay sa COE q ung working hrs q per week, kaso wala aq contract na naisend.. Affidavit of explanation ang pinasa q.. kaya cguro kinuquestion ang working hours..

isa pang hinala q sa background verification ngkaproblema, kc my tumawag daw sa HR at dean, ang HR ndi alam ang pinagsasabi kaya pinasa sa Dean namin.. Yung dean nman yung classroom teaching load q ata ang nahighlight nung ngtanong about sa work q.. ndi ata naexplain na ngduduty din aq ng 3 days at 3 days lecture aq..

. Ah ok tumawag pal cla kaya cguro nga d cilantro satisfied sa sagot... Chunga nman yung hr nyo dpat pla cnabhan mo rin cla noh.. Be thankful sis kc my 2nd chance kpa.. Goodluck sis sobrang kinakbhan nko...

sana mapprove na yung application ng friend mu arrow, ang problema q nman ngayon, nag appear sa sss records q yung makati med.. my 3 mos silang nbayaran na contributions.. panu na yan, ndi q dineclare yun.. ang nakakainis pa, yung employment q na dineclare q prior makati med wala silang binayaran sa sss q.. mga hayop, san kaya nila dinala yung kinatas sakin nun.. nalilito na aq..

omg kinakbhan nko ha.. wala pa rin update e wala parin address ko sa ecas...

@suschicat: ngbago ba yung ecas nya bgo nya na receive yung letter? sobrang strict nman ng vo na yun...yung kakilala ko COE lng tlga pinasa nya wala rin cya contract e ska walang benefits..

uu AWOL aq jan, probationary aq nun for 6 mos.. kaya ndi aq bbgyan ng COE jan so ndi q dineclare.. tapos sa personal history ang nilagay q sa period na yan "unemployed".. anu kaya gagawin q?

nakiusap na aq sa kakilala q sa sss, ndi daw puede baka magverify daw sila sa main office.. puede ba nila verify yun?

Omg this is getting really scary.

@fire: Im also a nurse and CEM didnt question any of my docs (and hopefully not in the future since im already done with medicals). Some of the things I included other than my COE were my JD, contract, ITR, my letter of lateral transfer from one unit to another, letters of recognition signed by the current Vice President of nursing. Any document that was signed by the higher ups of HR or the nursing department might help like recommendation letters from your manager or senior colleague, performance appraisals, peer reviews and in-house certificates issued by your employer and photocopy of your ID. maybe u can submit pictures of u with your colleagues in the work place (but not with patients). Hope this helps.

as for the employer that did not pay ur SSS, demand that they issue CEM a letter of explanation why they didnt do so (its ur right as an employee!) and have it notarized. for makati med... well tell them the truth that u did not consider it as full time employment since u were in probationary position, meaning u did not have the full roles and responsibilities as a nurse described in their NOC and no COE can be issued in your short period of stay. i dont think cem will care if u went awol in one job as long as u have 1 year continuous experience in another.

and hope for the best, since in the first place, u should have been honest and transparent in declaring your background. no offense meant. i hope u accomplish everything in time.

@ christine: wla din changes e-cas nila, may agency sila..since nguupdate kami mga timeline, nagask sila sa agency at bwisit na yan kung hindi pa sila nagtanong hindi pa magsasabi na may ganung letter sila na natanggap..haist nga naman pag nabayaran mo na...

@ firestyle: send the sss contribution..CEM was asking for it..do not do anything harsh because they might verify it and in case of any discrepancies again..this might really lead for your refusal. Just accomplish a letter explaining that you rechecked your records and erroneously forgot to indicate your Makati Medical experience..and pray that they don't take it against you..

Hi guys,

FYI only..just want to share my bestfriend's experience hoping it might benefit others... She got her AOR from CEM on the 10th of November, since she doesn't have an agent (well actually i'm technically her agent hehe..) and since she doesn't check her e-cas, when I thought of checking her's on the 13th of December, she got her 2nd line "We started processing your application on the 17th of November..." thinking it was a mistake..both of us became anxious and I cannot explain it to her why her papers were processed that FAST..since CIO only received her papers on July 18 (beating the CAP for nurses), got her PER on October 18 and then CEM AOR. Were anxious why she still doesn't have her medical request letter. when I already got mine..I told her that we inquire personally at CEM.. I sent a e-mail inquiry and I adviced her to go to CEM at Makati... When she arrived there she was told to just write a letter of inquiry, drop it at the drop box station at CEM and wait for an e-mail or text within 28 days..however after only 2 hours, a Canadian officer called her and informed her that they mailed her medical request on the November 29, since her medical is lost she will be provided a new letter which she will personally pick up at CEM Makati.

Well..moral of the story..CEM really is a fast VO, on processing and inquiry, after the 2nd line, medical or a letter of correspondence should be received within 2 weeks......Philpost sucks! they lost my bestfriend's medical letter, I don't know where it is she only lives in Pampanga by the way....and in case you have any additional line which is taking so long, try to personally inquire at CEM Makati..if we didn't do it my friend might have missed her medical deadline...

i agree. dont correct a mistake with another mistake. visa officers are expert fault-finders. my 15-minute conversation with one over the phone felt like i was sitting on hot coal. just stick with what u've already presented and focus on justifying them.

@ firestyle: take Zelda82 's advice..just send the SSS contribution..along with other requirements..just don't do try to hide your Makati Medical experience by changing details on your SSS since it might be verified....However don't forget to always think positive..

The VO also has concerns with my working hours, i declared 24-40 hrs.. eh ang full time CI kc works 3 days a week lng.. that's the regular working hours namin, beyond 24 hrs, OT na namin..
