Hello there,
I'm applying for "Immigration Family Class OUTSIDE OF CANADA" as a spouse.

I wonder if the 4 pictures on the list(US form) are for medical exam (which I need 5, 1 for X-ray and 4 for a doctor) or I need to take the 4 more pictures on top of the medical exam ones?

I'd love to know since the cost of taking the professional pictures are sooooooooo expensive.

Thank you so much,
Anonymity

I got my photos done at Walmart, I got 8 photos for $12. The doctors office took 4 of them(but all doctors are different so make sure you double check) and the instructions for the US say to send 4 to them as well so in total I used all 8 photos.

Make sure you take the paper in the immigrants guide with the photo specs to whichever photographer you go to, they'll need that info so that your pictures turn out right.

Oh, and good luck! =)

I needed four for my medical and eight for the application. That's how I read it anyway (applying Outland, London office).

Yes, different offices require different numbers of photos. So make sure you read your guide to make sure you have the right amount =)

You'll need 4 more on top of the ones for the medical exam. I made the mistake of thinking I just needed the ones for the exam, and had the others requested later.

It shouldn't be too expensive, though. Where are you trying to get them done?

My medical examiner is offering to take 8 photos for $8! I'm applying outland through Mississauga as a US citizen, will that be enough?

I asked two doctor's offices and they asked for 5 passport-size photos. Sot it would be 5 passport pictures plus 4 immigration photos with the dimensions specified in the guide.
