Picture- question!!

I am going to apply extension of my parents’ visitor record. They extended 6months ago and need to extend again.

Can I use a photo that they took In July? I know CIC asks to submit the picture taken within 6months but I wonder if it is okay to upload when I apply through online.

Somebody can help me??

I would probably not risk and make a new pic. Now they require to upload electronically, so you will upload a file.
