Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
Dear Friends,

I have recently received my Canadian PR Visa, I have few doubts regarding the following: Please advise me

1) Do I have to take IELTS Academic to apply for jobs in Canada? I already have IELTS General score.

2) I have obtained my degree and Masters(Physiotherapy) from India, now do the University and College have to send the Canadian Physiotherapist Alliance forms directly to Canada?

Any response will be highly appreciated.

Thanks
Rinlee

1. Yes you require to appear Ielts academics n should score overall 7 bands to be eligible for physiotherapy competency examination.
2. For credentialing u need to send Ur documents through college to the Canadian alliance of physiotherapy regulators for assesment.

rinleena,

First of all congrats for getting the PR of Canada :) :)

I already ran from pillar to post to get clarification of my doubt but no luck. I'll really appreciate if you could help in providing some info about getting the Canadian PR.

About my qualification: I am a Indian Physio(MPT) with over 4.5 years of exp.

1) Is mandatory to get the license first then I can apply for the PR?
2) If no, then can you please guide(or any pointer) me about the express entry process for physio to get the PR.
3) Is GE Ielts is sufficent to get the PR or I should apply for Academic module.

Any help will be much appreciated.

Regards,
Ankit Nigam
