Hello,
I’m beginning to wrap my mind around applying for my citizenship in a few months. What I want to know is if the days in Canada between my work permit expiring and getting PR count as days as temporary resident.

Example:Work permit expired July 24 2018, receveid ready for visa(PR) July 11th. Became PR August 12, 2018. Does the time between work permit expiry and PR landing count as temporary resident?

Did you apply for the bridging work permit before your work permit ended?

Yes I did. My PR came through before they responded to my work permit bridging application so I sent an email to withdraw the bridging application

Those days then count as half days, with you having an implied worker status!
