Physical Presence calculator eligiblity period dose not match the Citizenship application! Error in system?

I would be most most grateful if you could help me with this question.

I was trying to finish my citiznehsip application (paper based) today and I was surprised with this puzzling issue:

When i'm filling the online physical calculator it ask me to enter the date i'm going to sign the application . So when i enter the date as 21st May 2021 the eligibility period in the calculator shows as as 21th May 2016 - 20th May 2021.

But when I Copy the "to date " from the calculator which is the (20th of May 2021) into the Citizenship application it shows the eligibility period as 20th May 2016 - 20th May 2021!!!!!!!

There is a one day difference between the two eligibility periods!!

Calculator is showing 21st of May 2016 - 20th May 2021 vs Application showing 20th May 2016- 20th May 2021

could you please explain if I'm doing something wrong? i'm really going crazy trying to figure this out. There must be something worong

Its paper based application, but i’m refering what is happening when i’m filling the online physical calculator

I just did exactly what you said and yes I can reproduce that missing day.

Probably its a bug in the Citizenship form, not sure if anyone else noticed on this forum when copying the dates from Physical Presence Calculator, when I filled my Citizenship form I manually typed the eligibility period

I have exactly the same problem!! When I searched from this forum, I realized that this is a kind of bug. I will leave it as is, but some people in this forum write an explanation while sending their documents. It is up to you whether you'll explain or leave it as is.

This is how the form is. No issues. Everyone who has applied post October 2020 have submitted the same application with the same problem.

The dates are pre-filled so there isn't much you can do about it.

Submit it as-is.

I've seen somewhere on these forums that you sign application one day after your eligibility period.

In you case window is 20 may 2016 - 20 may 2021
Signature date 21 may 2021

I did same for myself when i applied. No issues

It is not one day difference. You should apply afyer eligibility period
