I'm ready to send in my sponsership packet for my husband!! Do I need to do passport pictures of myself for the application? As te sponser? I have included them for him.
Thanks for your help!!

Look at the checklist, IMM 5491. It does not ask for pictures of the sponsor.

Also look at the country specific guide (varies depending on which visa office you are applying through).

Short answer is no the sponsor does not need photos, only the applicant does.

Do u guys write down the name or anything on the back of the photo? I took photos in Costco, they chop their address and the date the photo I take and also I wrote my name and the date of birth on my photo. Is it acceptable??

Use your country specific guide. It will tell you what, if anything needs to be on the back of the photos.

At minimum it wouldn't hurt to have them signed and also print your date of birth on each picture..
Be careful too as stated in your specific guide immigration photos are not the same as passport. Follow the appendix instructions in there.

Your photos were taken by a photographer? and not by an automated booth

I did not write anything on my pictures (U.K. applicant) as the guide does not say to do so. If they wanted it signed and dated they would have asked for it.

my guide said to sign them, if i remember correctly, so i signed and also labelled with date when they were taken, and my d.o.b. don't know though if it is a common rule, or country specific guide.

Omg....I look at the country Specific Guide, they didn't mention about the requirement on the back of photo..... :-[

Are you the only one applying? If so I wouldn't worry about signing them, they should be dated though.
