photographs have to be place on the generic document

my wife is accepted to come to Canada and they are requesting two photos with her passport and they are saying "the photographs have to be placed on the generic document" what are they referring to ? when do they need to be attached? thank you for the help

is it a imm0008 gen application form that they are referring to .Please check if you attached photos with that . what kind of application you submitted.is it family sponsorship or fsw.

Which visa office . did you submitted sponsorship and immigration forms and country specific forms and photos along with application

we applied for family class sponsorship and she lives in South America, she has been excepted from the beunos aires office to come to Canada with a spouse visa, they are requesting her passport and two photos and it says in the email that the photos will have to be placed on the generic document, we are just not ssure if we have to send them the photos on the generic document or wheb they return our original application with the visa if we have to place the photos then
