Hello Friends,
I need some help to upload my photo. Do we need to upload 2 photos or just one photo? I received an digital copy from walgreens and it has 2 pictures side by side.
Secondly, how do I upload 35mm by 45 mm photo. Its either coming on a A4 sheet or on 4x6. Any guide how to create a small copy for the visa photo?

The digital photo size doesn't matter as long as it has the proportions, is clear and doesn't exceed the given picture size.

The photo business where you took your picture should have given a single file that you can upload, if not try contacting them. Also you can get help in Office Max or Staples. If you need further help to edit the picture you can try google for tutorials.

Just scan the photo and upload it to one of the multiple web pages that can get it to the right proportions for free

Thanks both. I tried to contact the photographer but they don't provide one photo. Its always in a set of 2 on a 4 in by 6 in photo paper. So they gave the same to me on a CD.
I am having trouble croping one picture from that using paint as the its not the same size after I crop. I tried few other online programs. Can you please suggest other software or online program which I can try to get a single 35mm by 45 mm picture to suit Canada visa requirements size and resolution.
Can you also provide details on a scan option?

Thanks in advance.

Hello,

I googled as sugested. Most websites gave 4-6 photos on a sheet (I was looking for 1). I am able to get it on one website. It looks a big when I am printing Hope it qualifies. Is there a way I can check if it meets the requirement?

Thanks for the help.

Microsoft Officer Picture Manager is a good tool, but cropping an image is quite simple... any program does it.

You need the PROPORTIONS not the SIZES, so as long a the ratio is 35:45 it is alright, that means that if it measures 35:45 centimeters, meters, kilometers, yards, pixels, hands, fingers, etc, that works. You'll need to do some math to make the conversion and ensure that the PROPORTIONS are correct, for example all these image sizes are acceptable as they retain the 35:45 needed ratio:

2220:2854
1000:1286
550:707

If you still can't do this I recomend you take a trip to an office max (or those kind of places) and have someone do this for you.

I asked the same question last week. I scanned the photo and then used the website to create the JPEG. Here is a link to my post where I was given the websites. I used the first one.

Hey guys! I got a photo clicked according to Canadian PR requirements but don’t have the soft copy. Is it ok to just scan and upload the picture?
