Photo Specifications for family

Regarding Photo specifications for Canada immigration process, I am wondering to know whether the mentioned photo specifications will apply to whole family members (other than applicant) coz I got my photos with same immigration specification and my family members got their normal passport size photos ...

Photo specs by CIC strictly apply to all family members. Please make sure that the photographs of your family members are also consistent with the CIC's specifications.

I would like to know about proof of funds... Some one mentioned that the bank statement should be three months old... Is that true ? I Fixed Deposit the funds a month back i.e, 15th of June if I send that, will it be ok and do I have to provide any proof that the money where it came from ? I got that by selling my property do I have to submit that copy ? Kindly reply me
