Photo requirements for family of four

We are in the initial stages of post ITA process. Planning to take photos as per CIC specification.

Can anyone please advise if only individual passport size photos are required ? Is there any requirement for family photo to be uploaded?

Family Photo is required for sure !!!

Specifications are not literally stated by CIC so it is up to the applicant to decide. The advise is to get it done by a professional photographer, with a frame size not less than 1 foot on longer side, and shall be taken against the green fields once you have landed in Canada.

It was a lighter side of CIC. I was just keeping the hopes high for the OP that they will have to take a family photo once they have landed in Canada.
