Photo Request for PR Card from CIC - IMP

Hello,

I have finished my PR landing formalities 3 months ago in Alberta, Canada. I came back to USA within a month since I don’t have much time there to get the PR card. Today (After 3 months) I heard that they are asking me to attend in their local Canada Place office at edmonton, AB, Canada to submit a photograph and they gave an appointment on Sept 15th.

Now I have indian passport which has a valid USA visa and a proof of landing paper from Canada Immigration. Kindly advise me how to go to canada now from USA, I don't have time to apply for a Travel Document which will take upto 4 weeks.

Please advise…

You dont need travel document if going via land ( Personal carrier).

cant u reshedule the appointment?....what does the letter mention?

If you travel from USA to canada by car. You do not need any visa.As long as you have the proof of landing. You can do this without any issues.
