does it matter if our phone services aren't under our name? and i understand they frown upon calling cards but is there any way to get them to accept calling card calls?

A calling doesn't show who made the call or to who the call was made, so it is pretty useless as evidence of contact.

Hi.

We have SOME normal call history also, but not a lot, and what concerns me in that aspect is the fact that our land-line phone services are not in our names.

Also, I think i may be able to get the call history from the calling card company. Just not sure if it would be accepted even so because i read somewhere that calling card calls are not accepted.

I explained on my application that we didn't have any phone records to provide as evidence because we always used calling cards and, because they are a toll-free number, they don't show up on our phone bills.

A pile of used calling cards is pretty useless, because you have no idea who was called. If you could get call history from the calling card company, that would be good, but I doubt that you can.

I don't think it matters all that much whose name is on the phone bill. If you can show that you lived at the address on the phone bill and the bill shows that someone at that address has been constantly calling your spouse/partner, that should be good enough. Who would be making all those calls if it wasn't you?

i've used an online calling card company called pingo (www.pingo.com)... it provides exportable calling histories (exports to excel spreadsheets)...

might help someone...
