hi everyone !
I and my hubby are now on the process of digging our supporting documents for the spousal visa that we are going to apply. As i go over the questionaire, i have read there to include phone calls to prove our commmunications when we are apart....sad to say,, we never have any of it coz i am always the one calling my hubby in canada from my country philippines coz we have a prepaid call card here which offers cheap international calls cost,,,another means of our communication is through internet using the msn live messenger and at yahoo...we only have few letters sent through post,,,he's has been visiting me in the philippines for 3 times already( 2008, 2009 & 2010) and we have a lot of pictures of it. Last year,, we found out about the magic jack that can make us call both ways through internet. This is one of our fear that our application might not be approved because we lack this supporting document about phone call records...

Please help.
We need suggestions on this matter on what to do. We would be very grateful to hear from anyone....

someone in this forum had suggested using the chat logs in msn as an alternative to phone records.

Hi alpat,

i think the internet phone call history also it can be printable, so if it is possible for you please print those calls and it will be as proof

:-*

thanks to all of you who answered my post.....i'm glad i found this forum to solicit ideas and informations.......

sincerely,
alpat

The biggest thing they want you to really prove is your contact before you were married and after. So a copy of his flights to see you and a copy of his passports with stamps to the phili really helps to.And pictures lots of pictures and notes to say what they are from.Majic jack logs are down loadable.Msn chat logs are good, all emails well the part that says who sent them you dont have to put the actual email in unless you like to.no X rated emails.

Just be sure to explain about the phone cards. Include any evidence you have or your communication and it should be ok. A lot of people are in that situation :)

lol,,,absolutely no X-rated e-mails of course.....thank you very much iarblue for your info,,,by the way,,do i have to go into medical check up before we submit our application to CIC?
another thing is that,,when i downloaded the forms,,it says there ( if sponsoring a spouse he needs to fill out the Financial Evaluation Form (IMM 1283) but i can't find it in the website..
