It can be used for eligibility under FSW but you will not get points for it. I created a profile and my only work experience was two years as research assistant in Canada during my master's and I was found eligible for FSW by the system but as I said no points under Canadian work experience. I changed my profile later though for other reasons.

You might be ineligible for something else (funds, ielts, etc.). All I know is that based on my experience RA in Canada can be used towards the FSW one year work experience requirement but it will not give you any points.
Maybe u are making a mistake filling up the forms at some points. There is no special trick to get the FSW eligibility using RA experience. I created more than 4 EE profile and in all of them I got the eligibility.

Put 13k (for one person)and magically you will see you are eligible. U have good IELTS score bro. U will get a good CRS points in the language skills section.
