PGWP

Hi there,

1. I have done a pgwp eligible certificate (health and Human services management) from Calagary.
2. Right now I have taken up another pgwp eligible General business studies certificate in Surrey.
3. There was no gap between the two certificates.
4. My university is accepting 5 courses from my previous college and I will get credits for that.
5. Whereas I am doing 4 courses of general business studies at the moment in this semester and will take up one more course the next semester.
6. In all I will be doing 15 courses of 2 different certificates.

If I get my credits transferred will I still be eligible for 3 years of PGWP ?

I don't think you will be since your second program wasn't at least 8 months of full time study.

I talked to the cic representative and they told me that since my program is of 2 years it wouldn't affect my program duration even if i get the courses transferred

General rule of thumb is don't believe anything the IRCC help desk tells you - especially when it comes to more complicated questions. They give wrong answers our regularly.

Check with a lawyer.
