Hey,

I have a PGWP valid for another two years from an institution I attended in Manitoba. The visa states it's an open permit.

I currently live in Manitoba, but I've been offered a job in Montreal. I'm wondering if there are going to be issues I'm going to run into if I take the job and try to move to Quebec. I haven't been able to find any information on whether my PGWP is valid in Quebec like it is anywhere else in Canada.

Thank you so much from your help!

PGWP is a federally issued open work permit .You are free to work in any province.

When you apply for PR from Quebec you will need csq. Pgwp is valid as such. Quebec is paranoid about French and you maybe interviewed to prove B2 level proficiency. So be prepared for that.

All the best
