PGWP while waiting for PR under CEC? PLZ HELP!!!

CAN I still apply for PGWP while waiting for PR under CEC?

My husband has applied for PR under CEC, but I am finishing my college in May and I was wondering if am still eligible to apply for PGWP while awaiting the decision for PR? He is the primary applicant but I was wondering if I can still apply because we're probably not going to get the PR decision by May... Please tell me if I can still apply to be safe in case we get rejected under my husband...

There should not be any harm applying for the PGWP, if you are eligible.

For some reason I thought you were ineligible for PGWP while awaiting PR application, anybody else?

Also, if my husband gets NO as an answer can he still apply for his study permit?

I think we will be fine I just like having a backup plan no matter what that is why I decided to ask people on this forum. Thank you!
