Hey guys, Karthi here
I am a Master's student in Concordia University.
In my Fall term due to unavoidable circumstances, and lack of effort I received a grade F in one of my courses.
But I still have few more courses and I am pretty confident that I will score more and improve my GPA.
Since the F grade will be present in my transcript, will it cause any problem in my PGWP application.
I am very worried because being an international student I am in a lot of debt and pressure, but I am confident about myself. I also have part time experience in my core field. (Mechanical)
Can anybody please help me out!
Any kind of a response will be deeply appreciated

No - it won't be an issue as long as you finish your program.

Bongoman is correct. Your grades won't affect your PGWP as long as you have satisfied the requirements. I know people who got it from not even honours bachelors. You will be fine.

Thank you for your reply, I was very worried. this was my first F grade and i was feeling very low. Now that i am out of it, I am working hard to get good grades and end up with a good job.

As long as you remained a full-time student except the last semester you are fine. You may have to extend your permit if you have to repeat the course. You should talk to the program coordinator. If the course is a prerequisite for another course you ay have to change your schedule.

I have got my study permit extended. I had to finish by this summer(May), but the course will be offered in the fall. So i have to wait for that.

Would an extension of course timeline make the OP ineligible for PGWP ?
