Hi Friends,
I am currently on PGWP valid till Dec'28. I will be completing my 1 year full-time work by Sep 2027. Post which I want to travel to India to prepare for CAPR (Physiotherapy License test). I had few queries. Pls help!
1. If I stay up-to 5 months in India to prepare for the test, would it have an impact on my PR application? Is there any max time limit you can stay out of Canada w/o adverse impact to PR application?
2. What is the best time duration to start PR application given my PGWP expires in Dec 2028?
3. Do I need to be in Canada when applying for PR? Do they verify / check at the time of submitting the application my current stay? I was thinking of applying from India before traveling back to Canada?
4. Can we apply by self for PR application, in my case health professional or is it always advisable to go via Canada based Lawyers?
Thanks in advance.
